sorry i haven't updated this blog for really long. maybe its cos i didn't have the time ir maybe its cos i was just too tired.
school has been really great and so has the beginning of the hols(:
OBS was one of the best things that ever happened. i miss the instructors;(
we KAYAK-ED!!:D it really challenges you and stretches you to the limit, and you realise, you can achieve sooo much more than you can ever imagine(: so dont be afraid to try out anything. cos you never know if you never try(:

HELLO EVERYONE!

I'm finally blogging! After many many years, HAHA. sorry, super exaggerated. Anyway, I seriously have been so so so busy! Trying to catch up with my school work, going for dance trainings for the GF. Gosh, my dancing is terrible btw! OK, I decided that after the whole comp, I may set up my own personal blog, but i assure you, its not gonna be like all my blog posts here, so happy and politically correct. I'm just gonna scribble down all my thoughts, feelings and what not.

Anyway, I had such a lovely night last night:D I went on the flyer with some super amazing ppl and it was free! yay(: Though I've heard that the flyer was super boring and everything, when i went last night, it was sooooo fun! haha, its best to go in the night. Looking at all the buildings and lights, really made me wonder how amazing God is, to empower human beings to have this wisdom to design, construct and furnish. super awesome(: It's really beautiful. (I'll upload pics soon!<33)

OK, gtg study alr. STUDIES- now the most impt thing in my life. I have to do well!! k, rachel, wake up!!!! SLAP.

OH, just realised, wow. Today is good friday. AHHH, I feel so loved. God giving his all for me<333

Finally, thank you all sooooo soooooooooo much for supporting me all this while. I must say, I wasn't disappointed that I didn't get in. I was just slightly upset that about my marks. ANYW, I'm alright now and I'm gonna continue to be happy always(: so smile ppl!!!! *all the best to 3Js and 1A!*

sorry i took so long to update.
im sure you know that rachel is no longer in the competition,
nevertheless,
we are all extremely proud of her for making it so far :D
but we have good news!
rachel has been selected for the revival round next monday,
and tickets are now available!
priority is again given to all mgs students as tickets are limited.
however, there will not be transport to mediacorp this time round.
so to hear rachel sing live again,
do come for the concert on the 30 march, monday at mediacorp.
don't forget to wear your school uniforms!

ok, this is the post i promised(: i'm sorry it's so late cos i just reached home not too long ago from vocal training. i'm so tired! okk, anyway, just wanna thank everyone for supporting me. I must admit, i am not someone with that much confidence cos i know there are many much better than me. I joined this comp cos i thought it was kinda fun and wanted to experience how it was like being on tv, maybe.

Also, i wanted to see how far God would take me. And i have to say, he never once did let me down. When i just wanted to get past the first round, he brought me to top6. When i wanted to get into top6, he brought me to top5. Not only that, he gave me a final chance to sing again at the revivals. So, i am extremely grateful, and have no regrets.

However, getting in to the top12 really opened my eyes. It wasn't at all like how you saw it on tv. There are soooo many things happening behind the scenes- the stress, the pressure, politics, the emotions. everything, was the opp. of what i expected. really, it isn't as easy as you think.

As we step on stage, we put on a brave front, not really showing how we feel no matter how scared we are. Still, people don't let us off. They just spout mean things out, without thinking how we might feel. Imagine if ppl just judged you without any evidence, saying youre a horrible person, how wld you feel? think.

Ok, back on track again. For monday's revival round, I don't have any intention of getting in. I understand that there are others that deserve the place much more than I do. I just want to leave knowing that i've given my best shot, putting on the best performance i've ever done(: For all those lovely, awesome, amazing supporters out there, I WONT LET YOU DOWN! I will sing my best and leave the rest to God. I really want to say my most sincere THANK YOU to all of you. I love you guys and always will<333

I've been super sick these few days and lost my voice! Hopefully I'll still be able to perform at the roadshow tomorrow. But, I promise if I don't get the chance to perform tomorrow cos of my voice, I will perform my ultimate best on monday. No matter what happens, I really wanna thank every single one of you for your continuous support, giving me encouragement every time I feel like giving up. I'm really glad that God has brought me thus far, making it to the top 6 even though I never expected it, really.
